Special-Day Communication

In short

Special-day communication is the practice of marking calendar moments — holidays, celebrations, awareness days, company anniversaries — in a planned, consistent way aligned with the employer brand.

[DRAFT] Prepared for team approval; this note will be removed once approved.

Special days are the most visible internal communication moments of the year: content everyone sees, feels and shares at the same time. Women's Day, religious holidays, new year, company anniversary, employee appreciation day and similar moments are fixed on a calendar in advance, each with a message, visual language and channel plan.

Why it matters

Last-minute celebrations are both costly and inconsistent. A planned calendar keeps the same visual language and tone, reminds people of the company's values all year and feeds the employer brand on external channels too.

In practice

  • An annual special-day calendar with priorities
  • A concept, message and material set for each day (digital + physical)
  • Leadership message and employee participation (sharing, events)
  • Alignment of internal and external channels
