Internal Communication Calendar
An internal communication calendar shows which message goes out on which channel, when and under whose ownership throughout the year.
[DRAFT] Prepared for team approval; this note will be removed once approved.
The calendar is the delivery side of the internal communication strategy. Corporate moments (strategy share, performance cycle, budget), HR processes (surveys, engagement, benefits windows), special days and campaigns come together in one view, revealing clashes and gaps in advance.
Why it matters
Five announcements in one week go unread; an empty month makes the channel forgettable. The calendar balances rhythm and keeps HR, communication, leadership and agency on one plan.
How it is built
- Fixed moments: corporate, HR and special-day calendar
- Channel and frequency rules (e.g. one intranet bulletin a week)
- Content owners and an approval flow
- Monthly review and gap management
