Change Champions

In short

Change champions are employees who try out the new way of working during a specific transformation, guide their colleagues and pass implementation challenges on to the project team.

A champion’s role is tied to a specific change. While a new ordering system is being introduced, a champion can try it out in day-to-day work and pass on to the project team the points the training left unclear.

Choose people for the pilot team from different shifts and roles. If a champion notices the point at which the field team needs an internet connection on the order screen, they record the observation and share it with the project lead. At the end of the pilot, tell the team which suggestions were implemented and which questions remain open.
