Internal Communication Ambassadors
Internal communication ambassadors are employees who support a regular flow of information and feedback between their teams and the communication function.
In a multi-site organisation, the central team cannot always see whether an announcement has reached the night shift. As a colleague who knows how things work locally, an internal communication ambassador makes such gaps, and the questions in the team, visible.
At each site, define the team the ambassador will reach, the time they can give and who they pass feedback to. For example, if an ambassador reports that an update on canteen hours reached one shift late, tell them which correction was made and when. The ambassador can then pass the outcome on to their own team.
