Employee Wellbeing
Employee wellbeing is the support of physical, mental, social and financial health at work: the foundation of engagement and sustainable performance.
[DRAFT] Prepared for team approval; this note will be removed once approved.
Wellbeing programmes are more than a gym membership or fruit day; they include structural elements such as workload, flexibility, psychological support, the manager's attitude and financial security. Communication decides awareness, uptake and the perception that "people matter here".
Why it matters
Burnout is a leading cause of quiet quitting and attrition. Wellbeing is among the most-discussed topics on review platforms and directly feeds the "people" pillar of the employer brand.
Communication topics
- A programme guide and easy access
- Leader and employee stories (reduce stigma)
- An awareness calendar (mental health, ergonomics, financial literacy)
- Uptake and perception measurement
