Employee Benefits
Employee benefits are the non-salary elements offered to employees — health insurance, meals, transport, leave, flexibility, development — forming the "rewards" pillar of the EVP.
[DRAFT] Prepared for team approval; this note will be removed once approved.
Most companies spend heavily on benefits, yet many employees are unaware of what they have. Benefits communication uses a "total reward" approach to make salary + benefits + development + flexibility visible as a whole and explains simply how each benefit is used.
Why it matters
An unknown benefit is a non-existent benefit. Global trends move towards flexibility, mental health support and personalised packages; in Türkiye, financial support stands out in inflationary periods. How benefits are communicated is decisive in employer brand competition.
In practice
- A total reward statement (annual personal summary)
- A benefits guide and FAQ (intranet/app)
- New benefit launches and usage stories
- Uptake and satisfaction measurement
