Recruitment Marketing

In short

Recruitment marketing applies marketing methods — targeting, content, campaigns, funnel analysis — to attract candidates and convert them into applicants.

[DRAFT] Prepared for team approval; this note will be removed once approved.

The employer brand defines what you promise; recruitment marketing delivers that promise to the right audience at the right time. It works through a funnel of awareness (career accounts, employee stories), consideration (career page, events) and application (ads, campaigns).

Why it matters

Passive candidates — not actively looking but open to the right offer — are the largest talent source and cannot be reached with job ads alone. Recruitment marketing reaches them with content and targeted campaigns.
