Employer Brand Identity
Employer brand identity is the set of visual and verbal elements an organisation uses to show what kind of employer it is.
The photo a candidate sees on the careers page, the way a job ad addresses them and the guide they are handed on their first day all describe the same workplace. Identity work defines how the employee value proposition will look and sound in each of these settings.
For example, if a manufacturer highlights craftsmanship in its career communication, its image library can feature real work environments and the people who do the work. Photo selection, headline style and the way employee stories are told are illustrated in a guideline. That way, different teams can use the same employer identity in the job ads and content they produce.
