Town Hall Meeting
A town hall is a regular meeting where senior leadership meets all employees to share results, priorities and take questions openly.
[DRAFT] Prepared for team approval; this note will be removed once approved.
Held quarterly or twice a year, the town hall explains where the company is, where it is going and what is expected of employees in the leader's own voice. In hybrid and multi-site organisations it is supported by live streaming, recording and Q&A tools. The most valuable part is the employee questions, collected in advance and asked live.
Why it matters
The town hall is a ritual of transparency: sharing good and bad news on the same stage grows trust. Answers to questions are the most visible proof of say-do consistency.
For a good town hall
- A clear flow: results, priorities, stories, questions
- Question collection with an anonymous option
- Recording and summary for those who could not attend
- Measuring attendance, question count and satisfaction
