Pulse Survey
A pulse survey is a short 3-10 question survey run frequently (monthly or quarterly) to track employee sentiment and the impact of communication in near real time.
[DRAFT] Prepared for team approval; this note will be removed once approved.
If the annual engagement survey takes a photo, the pulse survey shoots a film. It is used to see the effect of change, a crisis or a new communication programme quickly; eNPS is usually its fixed question.
Why it matters
It measures the result of internal communication without waiting a year, so problems are seen before they grow. But frequent surveys with no follow-up create "survey fatigue"; every pulse must close with "we heard you" communication.
Good practice
