Candidate Net Promoter Score (cNPS)
The candidate net promoter score is an indicator that measures how likely candidates who have been through the recruitment process are to recommend applying to the same organisation.
Candidates are asked: “Thinking about your experience, how likely are you to recommend applying to our organisation to someone you know, on a scale of 0–10?” The result is a score between −100 and +100.
The percentage of respondents giving 0–6 is subtracted from the percentage giving 9–10 among all valid responses. Those giving 7–8 are also included in the total number of responses. For example, if 25 of 50 responses are 9–10, 15 are 7–8 and 10 are 0–6, the score is 50 − 20 = +30. When comparing periods, ask the question at the same stage. Read the comments of candidates who received an offer and of those who were not selected separately.
